Why you should never trust a Kittiwake.

While this is MorethanKittiwkes, apart from their arrival I have largely glossed over these great birds.  Now, they are preparing to leave perhaps I should give them a last mention.

The young are jumping off their high rise accommodation and appearing in all the tetrads that contain a bit of Tyne -b, g, l, k, r, s, w and x. They obviously look a bit different to the pristine adults with the black in their wings but they are no less endearing.  It was great to see the BTO had them as their bird of the month for July and treated us all to a few things we didnt know.

But with all the bollo**s about killing off our aggressive gulls.  The last word has to go to Mike Areff who posted this great response today.
